Being pioneer in the field of ophthalmology training and recognized by the Central and State Governments, by national and international partner NGOs, by National Board of Examination and last but not the least, by International Center for Ophthalmology, Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya has taken a step ahead with the inauguration of its brand new world class training facility that is unique in whole of the Asia Region.
On June 8th, 2016, Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya inaugurated Imagine, The Sadguru Academy of Ophthalmology. This International academy for ophthalmology is having state-of-the-art Wet-lab, Resource-center, Animation-lab & 3 D-Theater and E-board assisted Class-Rooms.
Inaugural Ceremony had Dr. R.S. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MP Medical Science University. Ceremony was presided by Mr. Larry Fay, Area Director, Asia and Russia, Alcon International. Dr. K. S. Tiwari, Regional Director, IGNOU- Bhopal, Shri Abhay Mahajan, Sanghathan Sachiv, Deendayal Research Institute and Shri Vasantraj Pandit, Deendayal Research Institute were Special Guests. Dr. BK Jain, Director and Trustee, SSSST, Dr. Elesh Jain, Administrator, SNC and Dr. Alok Sen, Medical Superintendent, SNC presented the offerings of The Sadguru Academy of Ophthalmology to all.
