Our selection program for Fellowship Selections in August 2020 has been revised.

Specialty Fellowship 3 years

Deemed Faculty Specialty Fellowship (5 years)
Intraocular Lens Surgery Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Oculoplasty, Paediatric Ophthalmology
Hands on specialty training, providing a wide range of experience in clinical management, surgery and meaningful research such that the fellows will be fully competent in their respective specialty by the end of their fellowship.
On completion one can independently perform cataract surgery (SICS and phacoemulsification) and specialty surgery. Overall adequate exposure is provided to make fellows competent in their specialties. Our retina fellowship does not include exposure to cataract surgery.

Eligibility: DO / MS / DNB
This fellowship is for ophthalmologists committed to working with Sadguru at any of its different locations.
First & second year: Hands on specialty training, providing a wide range of experience in clinical management, surgery and meaningful research such that the fellows will be fully competent in their respective specialty by the end of their fellowship. On completion one can independently perform cataract surgery and specialty surgery.
Third – Fourth- Fifth year: As Sadguru faculty

Sadguru’s educational mission is focused on training next generation clinicians in ophthalmology fostering a friendly environment such that one can learn new skills from expert surgeons and clinicians. Training is tailored to the candidates previous training, to instill confidence to practice independently. Sadguru has an outpatient footfall of 3000 and a surgical load of a 1000 patients per day. Through our specialized and experienced faculty, we have trained over 182 fellows. Our fellowship programs focus on diagnosis and management in the Indian perspective. Limited fellows are chosen per specialty to ensure maximum exposure. Experienced faculty, the best of the latest diagnostic equipment, wet labs, simulators and 26 modular theaters reinforce fellowship experience. Sadguru harnesses equality with equity in its delivery of healthcare providing high quality services to all, delivering through horizontal equity.
