Introduction

High quality High Volume procedures are the hallmark of the Cataract and IOL unit at Shri Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya. The department is today articulated with state of the art equipments such as Carl Zeiss LED Microscopes, Phacoemulsification Machines - Alcon Laureate, Zeiss Hand Piece and Zeiss Visallis. The full fledged Cataract Department can perform all forms of cataract surgeries and is equipped to perform cataract in combination with other surgeries like Glaucoma and Vitreoretinal surgeries in the same sitting. Nearly 100 cataract surgeries are done at the hospital every day.

• Phacoemulsification with 2.2 mm incision and foldable Intraocular lens implantation
• Multifocal IOL implantation
• Manual Suture less small incision cataract surgery
• Scleral fixated IOL implantation
• Cataract surgery in complicated cases by using CTR, CIONNI, IRIS HOOKS, ANTERIOR VITRECTOMY etc.
