Late Shri Arvindbhai N. Mafatlal

October 27, 1923 – October 30, 2011

Late Shri Arvindbhai N. Mafatlal was a Philanthropist and an ardent devotee of Param Pujya Gurudev Shri Ranchhoddasji Maharaj. Gurudev saw a social activist (SEVAK) in Shri Arvindbhai true to his heart and formed Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust in 1968, nominating him as Chairman. He was a recipient of Lions Humanitarian Award by the International Association of Lions Club (US) for his pioneering efforts in sight related activities in 1993.

Shri Arvindbhai was also associated with religious activities namely Shri Raghuvir Mandir Trust at Chitrakoot through which Sadhu Sant Seva and feeding the poor is being carried out continuously.

Under the leadership and guidance of Shri Arvindbhai, the Trust has implemented various social and humanitarian services through its current two centres, one at Chitrakoot, District Satna (M.P) and another at Anandpur, District Vidisha (M.P) providing dedicated services in Eyecare, General Health, Education, Women’s Empowerment, Gau Seva, Agriculture/Horticulture activities and relief to the people affected by natural calamities.

Shri Arvindbhai stressed on Four As concept to fulfill the vision of Gurudev.

  • Ann - To provide food to hungry 
  • Achran - To inherit good Culture among people
  • Akshar - To provide knowledge & education for all
  • Arogya - To provide facilities for good Health

Late Shri Ramdas N. Gokani

November 15, 1929 – July 23, 2011

Late Shri Ramdas N. Gokani  was a Trustee of SSSST.  He spent 43 years in SSSST devoting himself in carrying out the welfare activities of the Trust such as relief work during the natural calamities, Healthcare, Education, Gauseva, etc.  He was involved in activities of Shri Raghuvir Mandir Trust.

He was recipient of “Diwaliben Mohanlal Mehta Award” in 1999 for his outstanding services to the needy and visually impaired persons. His valuable contribution will be remembered by the trust forever.
